Prior to being elected in 2018, Cami worked in Community & Physician Relations for Penrose Cancer Center. Additionally, Cami served as Regional Director for the American Heart Association and also worked for the City of Colorado Springs and the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce. Each of these positions required her to work with all stakeholders and find ways to work together with all involved to improve our community. She has taken her experience with a collaboration of interests to the County Commission and found creative solutions to difficult policy objectives.

Commissioner District 5 is the home of the Olympic Training Center, UCCS and many military families. Having earned her Master’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from UCCS and being married to an Olympian and Air Force veteran makes Cami uniquely qualified to understand the value these institutions bring to the community. They, too, are a part of Cami’s vision of a vibrant community where government, business and citizens work together.

Cami and her husband Eli have lived in the 5th Commissioner district since 2003. Their 7-year-old son, Struthers, has his own story that highlights Cami’s commitment to life and family values, and provides her with a unique perspective of health and human services issues facing the community.

As your commissioner, you can count on Cami Bremer to deliver results, listen to your concerns, and make responsible decisions based on her beliefs and all evidence available. She hopes to continue her effective Commissionership by prioritizing families and businesses, limiting government overreach, and building a strong and sustainable community.
